Jennifer Lopez used the Detail-produced “I Luh Ya Papi” as the lead single to her album A.K.A. earlier this year, while newcomer Tinashe was introduced to the world with her debut single “2 On,” but both ladies’ 2014 may have gone totally differently if this one studio session didn’t happen! “It was intended for Aquarius and everything,” Tinashe revealed to FADER in a new interview. “Then Detail was in a session with J. Lo and he played her the track, because you know these producers sometimes, they’re like ‘Yo, lemme play you my hot sh*t!’ I guess she obviously really liked it, and she cut her version.”
