Yo Gotti has been on this non-stop I AM tour. With 20 days until the album I AM drops, he made his way to Chi-Town where he not only threw on a show that had the crowd standing but, he also stopped by Columbia College Chicago for a up-close and personal interview with the students. will.i.am owns the copyright to “I AM” and he’s making that clear by taking legal action against Pharrell’s creative brand, “i am OTHER.” Will.i.am has said nothing about the suit but Pharrell made it clear that he’s pretty bothered by it. “I am disappointed that Will, a fellow artist, would file a case against me,” Pharrell says in a statement to RS. “I am someone who likes to talk things out and, in fact, I attempted to do just that on many occasions. I am surprised in how this is being handled and I am confident that Will’s trademark claims will ultimately be found to be as meritless and ridiculous as I do.” We’ll give you more updates as they come in!
