A gunman shot and injured four people before killing himself at a sprawling medical campus in Reno. Reno police said the man entered the Center for Advanced Medicine at Renown Regional Medical Center at about 2:45 p.m. with at least one gun and began shooting. The shooter turned the gun on himself before 3 p.m., police said. One of the shooting victims was in surgery, Robinson said. Information on the condition of the others wasn’t immediately available. The shooter’s motives were not immediately known. Nevada Department of Public Safety spokeswoman said the incident has been “contained.” Gov. Brian Sandoval took to Twitter and said that he and his staff were monitoring the situation and his thoughts and prayers were with those affected by the tragedy. The Renown Medical Center is the largest hospital in northern Nevada. We will have more details as they come in.

Earlier today, it was reported that NeNe Leakes had been hospitalized, though little was known as to the reason why. Rumors started spreading that the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star had suffered a heart attack, but she eventually took to her Twitter to give the real explanation. “After some routine tests I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lung,” NeNe revealed in a statement. “I’m told this happened to me because of the constant traveling around the country that I do for my job. I’m thankful to be alive as the doctor advised me that most people don’t recognize the symptoms of blood clots and don’t go to the doctor and that’s when the big problems start happening.” She has since been released and is recovering at home.

NeNe Leakes was hospitalized this week for an unknown cause, and she’s feeling “blessed to be alive.” The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star tweeted just one day before that she hadn’t been feeling good for a few days, and the very next day, shared a photo from the hospital showing IV tubes in her arms. Though she didn’t share what the ailment was, one follower tweeted to her, “It’s probably from exhaustion. She has the most grueling schedule of any celebrity,” to which NeNe replied, “I work my butt off.” Unfortunately this happens to celebs far too often because they’re always on the go, most recently to Rita Ora just yesterday! Hope both ladies make a quick recovery soon!

Amanda Bynes’ Mother Drops Bid For Permanent Conservatorship
Amanda Bynes’ mother has dropped her bid to secure a conservatorship over her mentally unstable daughter, but it’s not because she’s giving up or doesn’t care. Fact is, Amanda is currently on an LPS hold in the psych ward, which means doctors have more secure control over Amanda than her mother would have with a conservatorship, so there’s no need to keep fighting in court. There’s talks she’ll be staying until 2015 as well, so there shouldn’t be trouble for some time. Still though, doctors have given Amanda’s mom the power to make medical and financial decisions for her daughter under the LPS hold.
