Man-oh-Man…Young Jeezy is playing with fire – in a way. After having a sit down with VLADtv, the rapper discusses his standpoint on the legal battle he faces with Bishop T.D. Jakes. It was reported that Jeezy used a snippet of Jakes’ Don’t Let the Chatter Stop You sermon for the intro to the hit single, “Holy Ghost” featuring Kendrick Lamar. The famed preacher and his flock of followers announced that the piece was used without anyone’s knowledge. Well, now Jeezy has a response for the pending lawsuit.
So, it would seem that T.D. Jakes and his congregation listen to hip hop. T.D. Jakes Ministries’ Facebook account made sure to announce that a snippet from the well-known pastor’s Don’t Let the Chatter Stop You sermon was unknowingly used for Jeezy’s intro to “Holy Ghost,” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
