Sports: Floyd Mayweather Tops Forbes Highest Paid Athletes List, See Who Else Made The Cut!

It’s that time of the year again when Forbes puts together their highest paid athletes list for the past year and of course none other than Floyd Mayweather finished first.  The undefeated boxer had cumulative earnings of $420 million entering 2015. His mega fight against Manny Pacquiao, plus the one previously against Maidana and finally inking endorsements with Hublot, FanDuel and Burger King, netted him a crazy $300 million sum.  Check out who else made the list.

Sports: $$$ Guess Who Is Back On Top As The World’s Highest Paid Athlete

After falling from the top spot last year, Tiger Woods is back to claim his throne. Tiger was the world’s highest paid athlete every single year from 2001-2011. For the 2012 year, he was replaced by Floyd Mayweather when Floyd racked up over $82 million dollars. Tiger is back on top after earning $78 million dollars. Now just to be clear, Forbes does this list every 12 months, not exactly a calendar year. They tend to release these type of lists around June, which means with Floyd’s recent deal with Showtime, and his upcoming fight in September, it is pretty safe to say he will be on top of the list for next year. Kobe Bryant finished 3rd on the list with $61.9 million and Lebron James finished 4th on the list with $59.8 million dollars earned. American athletes Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees also finished in the top 10. Check the rest of the full list after the jump.
