In a recent lawsuit, a teenager claims that she was expelled from her prestigious Catholic high school because of her sexual orientation. 17 year old Amanda Acevedo claims that she was targeted by homophobic school administrators at Preston High School for bringing a female date to a school dance. A group of minority youths, ranging from 12 to 15 years old, beat up a couple outside Kings Plaza in Brooklyn, while yelling racial slurs. They surrounded the couples car after being honked at and were yelling, “Get those crackers! Get that white whore.” Ronald Russo and his wife, Alanna, were at held up at a green light on Avenue U at East 58th Street, when he honked his horn to get the group of teens out of the street. Transgender Women Beaten To Death In Harlem
A 21-year-old Transgender woman named Islan Nettles was brutally attacked on Frederick Douglass Blvd between 147th Street and 148th Street in Harlem. According to the police, the “thug” was yelling anti-gay slurs during the beating that is currently being investigated as a hate crime. Nettles family made the heart-wrenching decision to take their daughter off of life-support after being treated at Harlem Hospital for almost a week. 20-year-old Paris Wilson has been charged with misdemeanor assault, but the police said there could be a possible upgrade in the chargers once the results of a medical report comes back.

Well this is disturbing, A friend close to the family of late actor, Michael Clarke Duncan stopped by his grave in Hollywood Hills to leave flowers for her deceased friend when she noticed something very odd about his tomb. There was a cartoon-looking black face figure attached to the middle of Duncan’s tomb. The friend says she believes the cartoonish character is supposed to be “Sambo,” a children’s book character from the late 1800′s, early 1900′s. Sambo” later became known as a racial slur and an offensive depiction of Black people….SMH more after the jump
