Hassan Whiteside announced earlier this morning that he was going to keep his talents in South Beach and resign with the Miami Heat. While details of the deal aren’t finalized yet, the contract should be worth somewhere around $98 million, which is a come up for a guy who has only been in the league a few years, despite being 27 years old. All of this is good news for Dwyane Wade, who will likely remain with the Heat as well, since they are now keeping Whiteside and Chris Bosh should be good to go for next season. NBA: Hassan Whiteside Announces He Is Re-Signing With The Miami Heat
Hassan Whiteside just announced this morning, via The Players Tribune, that he will be staying with the Miami Heat. The deal is expected to be a max contract considering the Mavericks were ready to throw whatever at Whiteside to make him come to Dallas. The deal will also likely keep Dwyane Wade in South Beach as well.
