Following honorees among the likes of Arthur Ashe, Ruby Dee, James Earl Jones, Tommy Hilfiger and Lionel Richie, Rihanna has been named Harvard University’s 2017 Humanitarian of the Year. The Harvard Foundation’s director, S. Allen Counter, said in a statement that it was because of Rih’s philanthropy, detailing some of her amazing efforts over the years.
