Zach Randolph will not be a free agent this summer. That is after the deal he just agreed to that will keep him in Memphis for another two seasons with a $20 million extension. The Grizzlies have taken on the personality of “Z-Bo” , tough, blue collar mentality and it has shown in their improvement as a legit team the past few years. “It’s cool, man,” Randolph told the Memphis Commercial Appeal. “This is where I want to be.” Randolph, 32, averaged 17.4 points and 10.1 rebounds last season, helping Memphis win 50 games despite Marc Gasol’s early-season knee injury in coach Dave Joerger’s first season.
I LOVE this! Yes Z-Bo! In the spirit of the holidays, Zach Randolph takes off his shooting shirt and gives it to a young fan. Check it out…
Congratulations to Zach Randolph & his fiancee! They welcomed a bouncing baby boy last night. Zach had to leave the Grizzlies/Pelicans game during the 2nd quarter when he learned that his fiancee went into labor. Can’t wait to see Little Z-Bo.
On Tuesday Memphis Grizzlies owner Robert Pera sent out a challenge to Michael Jordan on Twitter. He wanted to battle MJ on the court one-on-one for a million dollars — going to charity. If you know anything about MJ, you might have guessed his reaction. Check out what he had to say about it…
Memphis Grizzlies owner Robert Pera’s called out Michael Jordan last night on Twitter and wants to put $1 million on a bet — and it’s all for a good cause. Since we’re talking about the Grizzlies, I’d love to see this happen with Justin Timberlake vs. MJ instead of Robert — but hey I’d just be happy to see MJ ball again. Check out what he wants to do & let us know if you’d want to see it?!
