NFL: Money In The Bank…Packers Sign Aaron Rodgers To New Contract

We all knew it was coming, we just didn’t know when. Once Ravens QB Joe Flacco got a mega deal after winning the Super Bowl, everyone knew Aaron Rodgers extension would most likely be a record breaking contract. The new deal will keep the 2011 MVP in Green Bay until at least 2019. Read more about it after the jump.


NFL: Beef? Aaron Rodgers Throws A Shot At Former Teammate?

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been known to come off like a jerk sometimes. You can tell he has that real sarcastic, douchebag type of side to him. He plays it off well, but every now and then it comes out. Rodgers was at an award ceremony this week for the Wisconsin Sports awards. He was accepting an award on behalf of teammate James Jones, when someone asked him about former Packers receiver Greg Jennings. See the comment he made about him. NFL: Brett Favre Hopes to Return to Green Bay One Day

Brett Favre spent years as the most popular man in Green Bay. But he says he’s not sure how Packers fans view him now, six years after he left the Packers and three years after he finished his career with the rival Vikings.  However, he’s optimistic that he’ll eventually be welcomed back for the kind of farewell ceremony that Hall of Fame players usually get.  Read more after the jump.

NFL Divisional Playoffs Start Today, Check the Schedule & Preview

The Ravens defeating the Colts and the Seahawks defeating the Redskins had some pretty exciting moments last week, aside from that the Wild Card games were pretty blah.  This weekend however marks the beginning of the Divisional round and we have some goodies in store.  Read more after the jump.
