We are less then 24 hours away from the BIG night, and you know what more than a few people want to see…YUP…Rihanna and Chris Brown. Talk about controversy within a relationship. I think this was bigger than Ike & Tina! We compiled some pictures of the couple making their stops at previous Grammy award ceremonies – you know, before Chris fell of the wagon. It’s just too bad the Grammys created a decency rule this year because the outfits celebrities have donned in years past are just too good to forget. Check out some of the most outrageous Grammys outfits after the jump.
Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are two of the biggest stars in the Country music genre. Both have seen major successes in the past, and both have given Grammy officials fair warning, to keep their counterpart away lest some unnecessary spat occurs. Swift, 23, cited Underwood’s lack of manners the reason for the issue, while no official comment has been made from Underwood’s camp, people at US weekly have confirmed that the crooners hate each other and this is not just a Grammy night fight. Underwood, 29, will steer clear of Swift, but I wonder how Carrie will feel during Taylor’s performance of a song off her latest album (RED) on Music’s Biggest Night. Hit the jump for more.
Justin Timberlake will be opening the Grammy awards by performing his new smash, “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z. Although we have no word if Hov will be joining JT on the stage, we do have confirmation that Justin will be debuting a new track at the performance! The debut was supposed to be a surprise, but thanks to the Grammys executive producer, Ken Ehrlich, we know for a fact he’ll be doing something new. It’s very smart of the Grammys to nab Justin as a performer although I would place him in the middle or end of the show to ensure more of an audience. Read what Ken said below.
