Timothy Jordan, developer advocate, gave developers at SXSW in Austin, TX a sneak peek at the Google Mirror API, which is what the company will use to build services for Glass. With the presentation, they are set out to help developers and entrepreneurs start thinking about what they could do on Glass. Check out the video after the jump.
Google Glass Might Get Banned Where For WHAT?!?!
A member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, Gary G. Howell is looking to pass a bill that will ban the use of Google Glass while driving in the state. I mean I get it a little, but wouldn’t They be considered ‘Hands Free’ ?! More in the link after the jump.
Bar In Seattle Bans Google Glass
Google has’nt released its highly anticipated device the Google Glass but it looks the device has already been banned by a bar in Seattle. According to the bars Facebook page the bar will kindly ask the wearer to remove the device or they will be asked to leave. According to the bars owner he’s feels Google Glass doesnt give his patrons the privacy they need in a bar (but people with smartphones taking pics are probably ok??) when enjoying their drinks. In a radio interview the bar owner said “Part of this is a joke, to be funny on Facebook, and get reaction. But part of it’s serious, because we don’t let people film other people or take photos unwanted of people in the bar, because it is kind of a private place that people go,” said Meinert in an interview with KIRO-FM.
WTF! You Can’t Use Google Glass Where?
5 Point Café in Seattle, Washington banned all patrons from using Google Glass eyewear well in advance. The owner Dave Meinert said Seattle is a techie town and sooner or later people will be walking around with Google Glass as new shades but the main reason for the ban has to do with preserving patrons’ privacy. On their facebook the wrote “For the record, The 5 Point is the first Seattle business to ban in advance Google Glasses. And [butt] kickings will be encouraged for violators.”

JetBlue Wants To Do WHAT With Google Glass?!?! #IfIhadGoogleGlass
Google held applications over Twitter & Google+ last week for for anyone who wanted to get their hands on Glass. To get involved, you had to use the hashtag #ifIhadGlass & explain what do would do you with. JetBlue has decided to enter in their application with pictures showing off what they would do with Glass.
