But unlike most farewell shows, the last episode on Thursday, August 11 was not filled with tears. Instead, George Lopez kept audience laughing from the beginning with his monologue. He finished the program with help from celebrity friends and final guests Eva Longoria, Arsenio Hall, Slash and Lakers players, Ron Artest and Derek Fisher. Lopez thanked his fans, friends, the show’s crew and especially Sandra Bullock for their love and support. Check it out after the jump…
This comes as a pretty big surprise to me!! A lot of extremely notable celebs were constantly stopping by the show and tweeting about how much they enjoyed it, so I figured it was doing pretty well. Guess I figured wrong!! After two seasons on air, TBS has announced they will be cancelling the comedian’s late night talk show. Hit the jump for details. Marisa Mendez
