The season hasn’t even begun yet and the New York Jets circus is already up and running.  Many teams get into scuffles during training camp, in fact Cam Newton just had one but things are okay between the Panthers now.  Apparently this fight at the Jets camp went way overboard.

The New York Jets aren’t the Jets if they don’t have some kind of quarterback drama going on.  The Geno Smith era might be over already as the Jets reportedly have their eye on Jameis Winston.  The former FSU quarterback is projected to possibly go No.1 in the 2015 draft which means the Jets will have to trade up to get him and that’s reportedly something they’re considering.

When Jets quarterback Geno Smith was at West Virginia, the school changed head coaches after his second season.  It looks like Smith’s second professional season will lead to the same result with all signs pointing toward coach Rex Ryan’s run coming to an end shortly after the Jets close out the year against the Dolphins.

The game between the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets was dubbed the Toilet Bowl because both teams are very low in the standings but during the game some crazy sh*t happened. Jurrell Casey punches Geno Smith in the face during the third quarter.  That one punch triggered a huge brawl between the Jets and Titans and Jets were upset Casey wasn’t ejected from the game.

The New York Jets are currently 2-11 and have decided to go back to Geno Smith at starting quarterback.  At this point, they really have nothing to lose.  They already know what Mike Vick can do, they might as well play Geno to see if they can help him improve or if he’s a total loss.  Well Smith seems very confident in himself and says he’s even shown flashes of Pro Bowl quality in the past.
