Kendrick Lamar recently received some backlash from his BET awards performance of his song ‘Alright‘ off his new album To Pimp A Butterfly. Fox news reporter, Geraldo Rivera made claims that hip-hop is more detrimental to the black community than racism. His claims stemmed from the rapper’s performance where he filled the stage with destroyed police cars in an effort to bring attention to the violence police are descending on America’s black youth. Kendrick defended himself saying that his performance was about he message of the song. He was trying to emphasize that the black community will be alright hence the song’s title. Waka Flocka took to Twitter to give his feelings about the song, it’s message and the album. Hit the jump to see exactly what he had to say.
