President Barack Obama announced on Friday he would be designating Stonewall Inn in New York City as the country’s first national monument to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights.

Philips and Charlie Rainwater, purchased the website to educate others with different beliefs about LGBT matters. The couple addressed their actions via The Rachel Maddow Show to explain why they chose to buy the domain name. “Charlie and I were talking like, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny to use Jeb Bush’s name to educate people about LGBT issues?’ We got on the Internet, and two minutes later, we bought the domain for eight bucks.” C.J. went on to explain, “We’d really like to use it as a platform for letting people learn about real LGBT faces, what we’re really like. So many times in our past we’ve heard people ask us questions because they don’t know another gay couple. A heated argument in a BBQ restaurant in the Chelsea section of New York City led to violence. Two men were hit with a wooden chair, for reasons unknown by the public at this point. Investigations are underway, as some believe this may be a hate crime. The two men, who were struck by the chair, were a couple. Check out the video!
Medicare To Pay For Sex Change Operations?
Looks like times are changing. Equality is on the rise for transgenders who wish to get sex change operations. The coverage of an operation which was once nationally barred for Medicare patients is now in the hands of regional administrators after the national policy against paying for these operations was overturned on Friday by a federal board.
