Ferrari FF

This year the Maranello automaker joined the off-beat path with the new FF. It’s a pure Ferrari thoroughbred, but its shape is vastly different from anything we’ve seen from the brand thus far. The Ferrari Four is a four-wheel-drive, four-seat shooting brake that claims new territory for the Prancing Horse marque. @funkmasterflex

Pagani Huayra

After seeing it up close and personal here on the floor of the Geneva Motor Show – in red no less, which is invariably more suitable to an Italian exotic than beige champagne metallic – I’m convinced afresh that Horacio Pagani and company make some of the most desirable machinery known to man. @funkmasterflex

Fiat 500 Coupé Zagato

Unfortunately just a concept (for the time being anyway), the 500 Coupé Zagato is actually a throwback to a similar coachbuilding joint-effort from the 1950s. The sleeker bodywork features Zagato’s trademark double-bubble roof and almond-shaped side glass, lacquered in special three-layer Pop Yellow paintjob. Fiat also used the occasion to demonstrate a 105-horsepower version of its TwinAir two-cylinder turbo engine. @funkmasterflex

Wiesmann Spyder

The Wiesmann Spyder concept ticks off all the right boxes for the minimalist speed freak. The styling – supposedly cribbed from the Wiesmann brothers’ earliest designs – won’t stand your hair on end, but everything attached and hidden underneath the blue amorphous bodywork adds up to an uncompromised driving experience. @funkmasterflex

2012 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback

With General Motors estimating that 65 percent of all compact sales in Europe are of the hatchback variety, this model is arguably more important than the sedan in much of the world. Slated to go on sale in the middle of this year, the Cruze’s 60/40 split rear seat and around 14 cubic feet of cargo space should add some utility to Chevy’s very mature compact offering. @funkmasterflex

Volkswagen Bulli Concept

Aside from the Beetle, Volkswagen’s Microbus may be one of the most iconic vehicles ever to come out of the German automaker’s stable. VW brought it back in concept form ten years ago, but despite a warm reception, plans to create a modern-day Microbus were scrapped. Now, though, Volkswagen is offering a second conceptual redux of its oh-so-popular van at the Geneva Motor Show with this, the Bulli concept. @funkmasterflex
