Auto Talk: RUF unveiling six new models in Geneva

Porsche fettler RUF is bringing six new products to the Geneva Motor Show, showing off what it has in mind for the 991-model 911. The company announced on its Facebook page that its 300-square-meter stand will showcase the “stunning CT”, “rocket RT”, “racer RG”, “luxury RX”, the “grandfather of RUF Turbo cars” as well as a surprise. Auto Talk: Mansory tunes McLaren MP4-12C for Geneva

The Geneva Motor Show party can’t really begin until Mansory shows up, and here they are with a McLaren MP4-12C that has been turned into “a work of art.” Since Mansory makes most of its paintings in carbon fiber, that means new hood, roof, rear wing and mirror housings as well as wider fenders that stretch the car by 60 mm. Let’s not forget the unique daytime driving lights, either. Mansory touts its work as being not only beautiful but better for acceleration, braking and fuel economy. Funk Flex

Auto Talk: BMW giving Brits the M3 Limited Edition 500

The E90-chassis M3 is nearing the end of its production run, as BMW readies a new model based on the redesigned-for-2012 F30 3 Series. As is typical when there’s a tantalizing new version coming, sales and marketing feel the need to goose the current model to maintain interest. Here in the States, we saw something like that in the M3 Competition Edition, while BMW’s British outpost is readying its own exclusive model, the Limited Edition 500. Funk Flex
