Auto Talk: Land Rover to celebrate quarter-century in U.S. at NY Auto Show

Land Rover has a big anniversary to celebrate at this year’s New York Auto Show. The company is marking its 25th year in the States, and it’s busting out a few historical models for display at the show for the occasion. Those include a 1987 Range Rover, a 1993 Land Rover 110, a 1995 Range Rover Classic and a 1994 Camel Trophy Discovery, among others. These bruisers won’t just be parked under the expo center lights, either. Land Rover has set up a special off-road course on site to demonstrate the vehicles’ capabilities. Funk Flex

Auto Talk: Chevy Camaro ZL1 production delay could mean very limited 2012 model year

Nearly two weeks ago, we reported news of a “quality assessment” issue with the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that was holding up deliveries and further production. We checked in with Chevrolet spokesman Monte Doran today to get some clarification on where things stand with the 580-horsepower coupe after being alerted by a reader that Camaro5 forum members with the car on order are growing increasingly frustrated with the delay, seemingly unable to get a clear status update on the fate of their vehicles.
