(Video) Caught On Tape: Daredevils Base Jump Off NYC’s Freedom Tower…SCARY!

First of all, these dudes are INSANE! A bunch of wild boys (literally) were caught on tape base jumping off NYC’s own Freedom Tower. One of the men had a camera attached to his helmet, catching the fall very clearly on video. Andrew Rossig, 33, James Brady, 32, and Marco Markovich, 27 and 29-year-old Kyle Hartwell (who is being dubbed as the “ground spotter”) have all been charged with burglary, reckless endangerment and jumping from a structure. Rossig explained to The New York Times that the they all just “kind of walked in,” putting the security on blast. “It’s supposed to be the most secure building in the world. God forbid it was somebody else getting in there with a real intention to harm New Yorkers.” Check out the CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY video below!


(Video) For A Second Day, Chunks Of Ice Continue To Fall From Freedom Tower On To Streets With No Safeguard!

Chunks of ice continue to fall from Freedom Tower, for a second day in a row, in lower Manhattan. The problem is, the streets below are not blocked off to protect pedestrians or transit riders at the nearby PATH station. To see news coverage of this story, click below.


(Video) One World Trade Center Officially Tallest Building In U.S.

This morning the spire that will sit atop One World Trade Center was installed. The spire brings the height of the new building to 1,776 feet, making it the tallest building in the United States and third tallest in the world. The 408 foot spire will also contain a LED light that once installed can be seen from ten miles away from the building. The LED light will be changed every few months and will hopefully shine like a “beacon of hope just like the Statue of Liberty,” according to Port Authority Vice Chairman Scott Rechler. The Freedom Tower will officially be open in 2014. Watch the spire being installed below.


SMH! Three World Trade Center Workers Arrested For Selling Weed At Construction Site

Seven months ago, The Port Authority received a tip that there was a drug ring amongst the construction workers working on the World Trade Center. After an investigation into Long Island’s Sorbrara Construction, three workers were arrested for selling weed to other workers. Brian McDermott, John Fama, and Cesar Rivera have been arrested and are facing charges of five counts of drug sale and possession. The Port Authority are going to continue this investigation because they believe there are more people involved than these three men. Read more below.
