If you’re an NFL fan you remember the crazy scramble to sign free agents after their lockout came to an end. Â Well prepare for that again! Â Normally, NBA free agent negotiations begin in early July, with actual free agent signings beginning a week or two later, but due to the NBA lockout, which began July 1, negotiations and signings were delayed. Â With a tentative agreement in place, once the votes are taken and papers are signed teams will have a substantially short amount of time to sign free agents.
