NBA: Hornets Expected to Buyout Rashard Lewis, He’s Looking to Join a Championship Contending Team
Rashard Lewis was traded to the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday, but it’s unlikely he’ll ever suit up for the team. Lewis will almost certainly be waived before July 1, according to sources close to the situation. NBA: Hornets Willing to Match Any Offer to Keep Eric Gordon Including a Max Contract
Eric Gordon was acquired by the New Orleans Hornets through a trade sending Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers. NBA: Lakers PG Ramon Sessions Declines $4.55M Option on Contract; Will Become Free Agent
Sabrina B. Ramon Sessions will not exercise his $4.55 million player option with the Lakers and will become a free agent on July 1, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Lakers, of course, can still sign Sessions as a free agent.
