Welp, looks like Frank Ocean has let his fans down yet again. Snapchat went all out for the alleged release of an album from Frank and it has yet to come out. Fans are pissed…yet again. Time to stop having so much faith.
One of the longest, most dragged out waiting saga’s in the history of music has finally come to an end. According to a NY Times Report, Frank Ocean’s highly anticipated sophomore album “Boys Don’t Cry” will be dropping this Friday exclusively on Apple Music. This coming after a mysterious live stream video of, well, nothing but building supplies and a cool looking speaker. The report from the NY Times states that a “major video” and print publication available at Apple Stores will be coming along with the rollout of the album. Also, the album will be a two week exclusive for Apple Music, with a more “widely available release” of the project following. Don’t say we told you, check out the link to the NY Times article below and get ready for Friday (if this is true).
Okay, we STILL don’t have a Frank Ocean album (it’s becoming the new Detox at this point…), but it looks like we’re getting something! Maybe. The cryptic singer has set up a live stream via Apple Music from his website, showing what appears to be an empty hall. Could this mean there’s a concert that’s about to happen? Where he’ll debut new music?! Well, maybe not.
Frank Ocean had everyone MORE than hyped last night, when fans expecting his album Boys Don’t Cry to drop as expected on July 31, didn’t. The twittersphere lost their minds waiting all day just to get nothing but an endless loop of a video on his website.
We still don’t have any music from Frank Ocean, but we have an underwear ad. Oh joy. Hey – maybe this means he’s on the promo trail, and that hint at a July release for Boys Don’t Cry may really be true? Hmm! Check out Frank and Thugger’s Calvin’s commercial below.
