(Video) Slaughterhouse Support Frank Ocean Coming Out

Early last Spring, when Frank Ocean had about 3k followers and no one really knew he was, I was forced to listen to his music on a daily basis at the highest volume Joe Budden’s speakers would allow. He’d also tweet him all the time, praising his music and giving him props, so it comes as no surprise to me that the Slaughterhouse crew are in full support of Frank’s decision to open up about his sexuality. When the guys stopped by Fuse earlier this week to discuss their forthcoming Shady Records debut welcome to: OUR HOUSE, the topic of Frank came up, and all 4 quarters of the House Gang were on the same page. See what they had to say below. Marisa Mendez

Target Refusing To Carry Frank Ocean’s Album

Frank Ocean’s Def Jam debut Channel Orange dropped earlier this week on iTunes, a week earlier than the previously announced date. He likely pushed it up to capitalize off the press he was getting from opening up about his sexuality last week. Can’t be mad at that! Well, apparently Target is. The major retailer claims they’re not carrying it because of the iTunes exclusivity, but how ironic that he also just came out of the closet? And how crazy is it that they carry Weezy’s Carter IV, and we know that came out exclusively on iTunes for a week as well! However, there is a “deluxe” and a regular version, and I can’t confirm if both were on iTunes. Do you think it’s a discrimination issue, or they’re really telling the truth? Take the poll below and let us know! Marisa Mendez
