Male R&Beef: Miguel Goes In On Frank Ocean: “I Make Better Music”

UPDATE: After the world went wild, Miguel has a comeback for his R&Beef with Frank Ocean. “No need to compare apples to oranges,” he tweets with an even longer statement attached. Let’s just say, he swings it well. Check out the gallery for Miguel’s statement. ORIGINAL: What happens when you think you’re hot s**t … that’s Miguel. Now we know that in music, there is always comparisons, or friendly rivalries. You can’t love them all. There was Nas vs. Jay Z, Biggie vs. Tupac and The Backstreet Boys vs. N’Sync (Backstreet Boys), but now, there is Miguel vs. Frank Ocean. Apparently, the two suffer from an R&Beef that is not really a friendly rivalry, but still has kept the two “cordial,” says Miguel. The Kaleidoscope Dream singer spoke with The Sunday Times and admits that he and Mr. Ocean are not friends, and well, because he’s in this music thing for the long haul, he clearly makes the better music.

Frank Ocean’s Year Long Breakup!!

*cues Thanking Bout’ You* Or do you not think so far ahead, because Frankie’s been thinking about this for forever, or at least the past year. The 27 year old singer/ songwriter who is undoubtedly one of the best lyricists to ever pick up a pencil is moving on. This isn’t your traditional “leave your key and half this months rent on the kitchen table” type of break up; Frank is ditching his old self. Christopher Edwin Breaux, Frank’s birth name is no more as Los Angeles judge finally gave him the green light to leave his birth name in the rear view and officially claim “Frank Ocean” as his legal name.

Uh Oh! Frank Ocean Wants To Change His Name But He Can’t Because Of THIS!

R&B crooner Frank Ocean has his heart set on changing his name but unfortunately for him, he has to resolve some legal issues first. The “Thinking Bout You” artist, who’s real name is Christopher Breaux, tried to legally change his name to his stage name back in March. However, his horrific driving record is making that impossible. Ocean received three tickets in the span of three months; one for expired insurance, driving without his headlights on and a speeding ticket for going 31 MPH over the legal limit. He missed numerous court dates for these driving offenses, so when he tried to hit the courts to change his name, the judge denied him alllllllllll the way. Getcho life, boo boo and pay those fines!
