Is it possible for a long distance track runner to have too much swag? Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad from France may be that guy, but it also cost him a victory. Mekhissi was well on his way to a dominating win when he decided to showboat and rip off his jersey as he sprinted down the home stretch and waived to the crowd as he did it. As someone watching it the scene was pretty damn funny, but track officials weren’t laughing and they stripped him of the win at the world championships.
