The superstar has announced additional dates for her Formation World Tour, and the include a makeup date for the Nashville show she postponed (which would have taken place today.) Upon Bey’s return from Europe in the fall, she will hit New Jersey (owww,) LA, Houston and more. Check out the full list of added dates below.
Beyoncé Reportedly Pays $60k Fine To Finish Delayed Show For The Fans
Last night, Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour hit Raleigh, NC, but the weather wasn’t really ideal for the situation. With heavy rain and bad lightning, the show ended up being delayed quite a bit, and even postponed mid-show, which would have required it to go past the venue’s curfew if Bey wanted to perform it in full. If you’re not aware how it works, ALL shows have a set time that they HAVE to be finished by, or they will incur thousands upon thousands of dollars in fines. Lucky for fans, Bey wanted to give them what they paid for. “If y’all are in the rain, I’m in the rain,” Bey told fans while on stage. With an hour remaining after the curfew, Bey incurred the $1000/minute cost, shelling out a cool $60k to finish the show. The queen!
DJ Khaled Missed Court Because Of ‘Formation’ Tour
DJ Khaled had a warrant out for his arrest for about 5 seconds this week. But no worries – he didn’t play himself. On Tuesday, Khaled was scheduled for a court appearance for a boating violation, but he missed it as he prepared for this little thing called Beyonce’s WORLD TOUR. The warrant for missing the April 26 date was quickly lifted because “the defendant had not been served with the new information filed today by the prosecution,” and has since been rescheduled to May 17. Khaled has an off day from tour that day, so he should be able to make it…BUT – May 16 is in CA and May 18 is in Seattle, WA…would Khaled be willing to hop on a plane to take care of this? There’s no way his bus is making all of those dates, and you know he hates flying! Hmm!
