After it was released that Deen uses the N-word, she issued a half ass apology which was the straw that broke the Food Network’s back so to speak. Yesterday, chef Paula Deen released two “apologies” for using the n-word and wanting black people to dress like slaves for a party she was hosting. The apologizes didn’t seem very heartfelt, one of them was clearly chopped and edited causing Deen to release another one. Shortly after the release of the videos, it was announced that the Food Network decided to give her the boot.
