Like many of us right now (myself included,) Mariah Carey has come down with the flu – but her case is so severe, it’s landed her in an NYC hospital! Mimi was reportedly “so dehydrated and ill” following an appearance at Pier 1 last night, that her team made the call to get her emergency treatment – especially because she has a big concert in New Jersey on Saturday. Singer Demi Lovato has been rushed to the hospital after suffering from a severe lung infection, according to doctors. A close friend of Demi’s took her to Providence Tarzana Medical Center where she was given antibiotics including a Z-Pack to knock out her nasty sickness, which was said to be flu-related. Although being sick is never fun, it’s especially worse for Demi because she’s in the middle of recording her upcoming album and had a big studio sess with a major producer. Miley Cyrus sent out the memo 30 minutes before it was go-time to perform at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina that she wouldn’t be hitting the stage for her Bangerz Tour. Severe Flu Puts Actor Burt Reynolds From The Hospital To An Intensive Care Unit !!!
What didn’t seem so serious at first is slowly getting worse. Actor Burt Reynolds was hospitalized with the flu then moved to an intensive care unit after “the virus was becoming more severe than average.” The 76 year old movie star was moved after doctors noted that he was suffering from severe dehydration. On the upside, according to Burt Reynolds’ reps, he is getting healthier and is making a full recovery.
