According to officials Friday, a U.S. Border Patrol helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas after it was fired upon possibly from Mexican side of border.

No surprise that Scottie Brooks’ job was on the line after The Oklahoma City Thunder failed to make to the finals after the 2011-12 season but more so that the they didn’t even make the playoffs this season. Obvious factors such as Serge Ibaka and Kevin Durant being injured played a role in them not appearing in the playoffs but this decision by the Thunder’s front office was clearly made because of a lack of a championship title under Brooks.

That is typically not the conduct you want to see from your college basketball coach, and Bowling Green University agreed. Jans was let go based on the premise that he did not fulfill his obligations as head coach. Before you go thinking nobody should care if the woman herself was fine with it, keep in mind Jans is married with two children and when he is in public or anywhere for that matter, he is representing the school and it was within their right. Not too mention there were reports of Jans grabbing a different woman by the head and shoving it towards his crotch.
