Hillary Clinton recently opened up about her thoughts on the tragic death of Michael Brown and the riots taking place in Ferguson County. The Secretary of State gave her support to Brown’s family, saying her heart went out to his parents and the community. Not only did she demand for justice to be served, but also questioned the discrimination that minorities receive under the law. The terrible series of events in Ferguson has brought awareness to a topic that has been plaguing urban communities nationwide. It’s refreshing to see government officials, like Clinton, finally understand and speak out in support. This is a step forward in the right direction. Rest in peace Michael Brown.
