Such a sad time for America. President Obama has now given his farewell speech. What a wonderful 8 years we have spent with The Obama’s. Obama says he will not be stepping down once he leaves office.
President Obama will soon be leaving the White House (wipes tears). He recently decided to hold his farewell speech in Chicago. The speech will be at McCormick Place in his hometown Jan. 10. Admission is free, with tickets being released Jan. 7 on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Kobe didn’t have a great night on the stat sheet but nobody cared about that to begin with. The entire purpose of this years all star game was to celebrate the living legend that is Kobe Bryant. As coach Gregg Popovich removed Kobe from an all star game for the final time, the players on the court and the fans in the seats gave him exactly what he deserved in the form of a standing ovation. You can see he was genuinely touched by the outpouring of love from his peers and judging by how every player pretty much went out of their way to approach Kobe, the night means just as much to them watching their idol.
This is such a dope commercial!!! I LOVE it!! Check out Hov, Melo, Spike Lee, Phil Jackson, Tiger Woods and many more in this Jordan Brand commercial saying farewell to Derek Jeter. #RE2PECT
“I bid you all a heartfelt good-bye.” – Johnny Carson Jay Leno ended a 20+ year stint with the quote from the famous late night host. After thanking all of the writers, producers and especially the fans, Garth Brooks performed a farewell track. The highlight of the evening was a tribute from Billy Crystal, Jack Black, Carol Burnett, Oprah KIM KARDASHIAN and more. Check it out after the jump.
I’ve never been good with deaths (not that anyone really is), but the whole open casket thing has always freaked me out a bit. And the whole taking a picture of the body? That’s just crazy to me. It’s such a sad situation, but at least fans have a chance to pay their respects. Hector “Macho” Camacho’s body is currently on display at a public viewing (photo in gallery) in Puerto Rico — three days after the boxing legend’s death. GameTimeGirl
