For months we have seen trailers for the Kobe Bryant #Muse documentary, which finally aired last night on Showtime. By the time I was done watching I realized I just watched one of the best sports related films or documentaries ever! It was done incredibly well and Kobe truly exposed his soul to viewers, in a way that he has never done his entire career. He gets emotional when speaking about tough times with his wife Vanessa and what being a father means to him. He speaks in such depth about everything from high school till now that it will definitely give you a renewed appreciation of Kobe while we still have the chance to watch him hopefully play one more season. Lil Boosie a.k.a. Boosie Badazz felt the wrath of social media after he posted up a flick with his son on Christmas day. His comment sections were going crazy with allegations that he photoshopped his son into the picture and that he in fact abandoned his children for the holidays. However, a photographer recently confirmed that the picture looked so professional because Boosie had them taken by an actual camera person, hence the great quality. He not only was with just his one son, but his other six children were also with him on X-mas, as well. Poor Boosie! Dude just comes home from prison not too long ago and everyone is quick to attack him and assume. SMH! All week we saw the happy couple with baby Blue Ivy either having fun in the sun, riding around and getting it on scooters, or at boxing matches stealing the show. Hov, Bey and Blue were spotted feeding a baby tiger. YES a real life baby tiger. Baby Blue looked unbothered by the animal as if it were a normal thing. (Video) Gabrielle Union Comments On The Eric Garner Case
As you may know, the officer who is responsible for the death of Eric Garner was not indicted. This news was delivered shortly after the non-indictment of the now former Officer Darren Wilson, who is responsible for the murder of teenager Michael Brown. Many celebrities took to social media and expressed their disappointment in Americas justice system. Some even went as far as protesting the streets of NY and Missouri on behalf of both victims that were clearly of African American decent. On Thursday, Gabrielle Union interviewed with HuffPost’s Live host Marc Lamont Hill. They discussed a series of topics, one being the recent news of Eric Garner. Union expresses her feelings of the lack of compassion in these tragic situations stating: “You have to have a complete lack of humanity to not at least acknowledge that there’s a whole chunk of our country and the world that experiences life and all that it has to offer differently. Have compassion for the pain. Have compassion for that difference.
