This idea of a “fall guy” isn’t new, rappers, athletes and other celebrities with a lot to lose sometimes have someone in their crew who will take the fall should anything go down.  The celeb then takes care of that friend monetarily.  But the words were actually said publicly by NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter and now he’s coming under heavy fire with ESPN, the NFL and more condemning his advice.
