In the cold, snowy New York weather yesterday, Fabolous wanted to show off his boots for a nostalgic Instagram post, and despite the fresh footwear, hilarious hashtags and just the overall freshness of the Young OG, bored folks wanted to focus only on one thing: his ashy left ankle. LOL! After people went in on Loso in the comments, the always-funny wordsmith clapped back with a hilarious response, and reminded the world that they need their priorities in check. After recently confirming her pregnancy with rapper Fabolous’ second child, former Love & Hip-Hop: New York star Emily B took her talents down to South Beach to spend some quality time with her son, Johan. Prince Joso and Em flicked it up while soaking up some Florida sun on a boat as they took over Miami together. She also posted a bunch of adorable flicks of Prince Joso looking FLY just like his daddy! (No really, this little boy is going to be SUCH a problem when he gets older.) Emily even gave us a sneak peak of her growing baby bump! We’re so excited for Fab and Emily as they add yet another addition to their growing family. Love it! It’s been speculated for a few weeks now that Emily B was pregnant with longtime boyfriend Fabolous, and just moments ago, she took to Instagram to confirm that it’s true! “Looking forward to the New Year…. And my new blessing,” Emily wrote with a baby emoji, showing off her baby bump in a red dress. “Happy New Year!” That baby’s going to be riding in style! This will be the second child for Emily B and Fab, who welcomed son Johan (aka “Prince Joso”) in February of 2008. Emily also has a teenage daughter, Taina, from a previous relationship. Billboard Breakdown Week Ending 12/28/14: Nicki Minaj Holds Strong At #2; Fabolous Debuts At #12
Nicki Minaj, J. Cole and Fabolous are all heading into 2015 with some great news, as they all had a strong sales week on Billboard with their respective new projects. As Nicki enters the second week of The Pinkprint being in stores, she follows up its 244k debut with another solid 156,000 units sold (105k of which are pure album sales,) maintaining her number 2 spot behind Taylor Swift’s 1989. That puts the HB at 400k already, with just 100k more to go until gold status! Behind Nicki is J. Cole, who enters his third week of 2014 Forest Hills Drive at number 6 with 120k. The North Carolina native hit gold last week, so he’s now on his journey to platinum status. As for Fabolous, his new album The Young OG Project released on Christmas day, made available ONLY online. So, with less than a week on the charts (as albums traditionally release on Tuesdays, not Thursday like Loso,) and nothing to buy in any store (since some people still live in the stone age and don’t have iTunes and Google Play accounts,) Fab STILL managed to sell a whopping 71,000 units, debuting at number 12! That’s huge!

Earlier this year, Rolling Stone published a somewhat controversial interview with Drake, where he seemingly spoke negatively about Kanye West’s Yeezus album. (Drake would later blast the legendary publication, adding that these quotes were “not for the interview portion.”) “There were some real questionable bars on there,” Drake allegedly said to Rolling Stone. “Like that ‘Swaghili‘ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some sh*t like that.” Though he also clarified that “Kanye’s the reason why I’m here,” and, “I love everything about that guy,” the media tried to paint it as a beef with Ye…and as a shot at Fabolous as well.
