This is crazy. Taiwan was over taken this weekend by multiple explosions of fire coming from underground due to gas leaks along the sewage systems, resulting in brutal destruction and tragic deaths. Check out the video of the explosions after the jump!
(Photos) Sports: Foul Play? Huge Explosion At Home Of Tennis Star, 3 Bodies Discovered So Far
A scary report this morning at the home of tennis Star James Blake. A mansion in Florida owned by him exploded into a huge fireball today according to witnesses. Neighbors say Blake hasn’t lived there in over a year and has been renting it out to the current tenants. The fire is still going and is so dangerous that they can’t collect evidence or the bodies of the three victims they know about until tomorrow. One of the early reports however says that upon a quick investigation of the house, one of the victims had fireworks literally strapped to their head. So was this an accident or is there more going on here? Hit the jump.
(PIC) Sports: Rihanna Under Fire For Posting This Photo of Boston Marathon Blasts
I get why some people would be upset about this photo that Rihanna posted, BUT at the same time I don’t agree with it. Yesterday Ri Ri took to Twitter/Instagram to send her prayers to the people affected by the Boston Marathon blasts. She attached a picture that had some fans going at her for posting it. Some said it was too graphic, some said it was disrespectful and others said she did it for attention. First things first, she was trying to send a positive message by posting “Pray4Boston.” Here’s my thing. This picture went viral. I saw it in a lot of different places, including news sources – not just blogs. It was a moment captured in time. Is it graphic? Yes. Should it be banned from the media? I don’t think so (I know some will disagree with me). If we hide these pictures that resulted from the explosions at the Boston Marathon, will people really understand the impact of it? It’s one thing to say 3 people died, it’s another thing to actually see how people were affected. This is a big topic that can be debated for days, so for now I’m going to leave it alone. As of this morning, three people have been killed and at least 140 injured in the explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. News broke yesterday that an 8-year-old boy was one of the victims. We now have more details of who he was and what he was doing when the explosions went off. Just heartbreaking.
