An ex-assistant of Flo’Rida says she was overworked and underpaid and is suing him for wages she feels she’s owed. Subsequently, Flo’Rida is blasting back at her, saying she was more of an intern type that he was taking under his wing and giving her a chance because she wanted a stepping stone into the industry. This is all too typical in the business…but what’s not typical is the “assistant” actually doing something about it. Quite honestly though I wasn’t there to actually see the type of working relationship they’d agreed upon…Flo should have been paying her well regardless. He’s rich enough to afford a million dollar car and big chains…I think he can afford to pay a girl that was working 65+ hours a week for him (according to her suit.)
