Announced to some cheers and some major disappointment, ESPN decided to honor Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner) with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at this year’s ESPYS, for “showing courage to embrace the truth that she had hidden for years.” While many people championed Jenner for her courage, many were outraged that ESPN chose her over 19 year old Mount St. Joseph University freshman baller Lauren Hill who passed away from a brain tumor in April.

Caitlyn showed off her new look since completing her gender transition and shared her thoughts and emotions about the process. Caitlyn has been championed by many people on social media, praising her for her bravery and being who she truly wants to be. But it doesn’t stop there.
