Bunker 42 was built 213 foot underground in southwestern Moscow, on orders from Joseph Stalin in the 1940’s during the cold war. The renovated space is now used as a Cold War history museum and event space. But now they are selling tickets to a ‘survival event’ that cost 30,000 rubles (about $1000) each. Each guest will have the option to attend a “survival event,” at which more than 300 people will be given water and “special food packages,” including catered food and enough canned goods to last six months. Then for 500,000 rubles (about 16,000) you can attend a conventional alcohol-fueled end-of-the-world party…and on the bright side, event organizers are saying they will refund half the price of the tickets if the Mayans are wrong about their prediction… What do you think about this?
