Last night, the 76ers would not allow their scheduled performer, Sevyn Streeter, to sing the National Anthem at their home opener against OKC. They told her that her “We Matter” jersey would not fly with them, and though they offered their team jersey in its place, she refused because it defeated the purpose. This morning, Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning got Sevyn on the phone as she was in the airport leaving Philly, and she broke down the unfortunate situation. Hopefully the team will offer up an apology! This is crazy.

This morning, Russell Simmons stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning to record an interview that will be aired tomorrow. Following the sit-down, he posted a photo with the morning cast to Instagram, and in the caption, revealed that he explains in the interview how he squashed the beef between Meek Mill and The Game. I actually was in the room for the interview, and Russell basically explained that he’d hopped on the phone with both guys (separately,) and told them they need to take a different route and set a better example for the youth. He says they both agreed with him, and promised to stop fueling the issues. According to Game’s manager Wack, that’s not true.
