Nicki Minaj called into the morning show on Hot 97 today to talk about her new single “Pills N Potions” with Ciph, Rosenberg, Laura Stylez and her homie Ebro. During the call, the topic of fellow female raptress Remy Ma came up, as she FINALLY returns home from a 6-year jail bid at the end of July. Before Nicki dropped her debut mixtape Playtime Is Over in 2007 and while Remy was buzzing off of the success of her debut album, the ladies were pretty close and hung out on the NYC party scene multiple times. (Throwback pics of me and the girls at one such party in the gallery – don’t laugh! LOL!) They’re both at VERY different places in their careers now 7 years later but thankfully – Nicki is totally open to working with the Bronx rapper! I’M TOO EXCITED!
