Early this morning a power earthquake slammed Nepal. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake happened less than 50 miles from the city of Kathmandu, leaving 777 people dead and counting.
Pray for California! A 6.0 magnitude earthquake rocked Northern California at 3:20 a.m. and now 15,000 people are left without power in the San Francisco Bay area. This has been the largest earthquake in California since 1989, which was responsible for 63 deaths. Moderate damage was reported in Nappa Valley, with gas leaks and structural damage also being reported. There have been no deaths, but two adults and one child are in critical condition. An earthquake shook Los Angeles and its surrounding areas causing major shock and damage to home and business owners. After rocking Disneyland in Anaheim, park officials decided to shut the park down until the numerous aftershock quakes ended. See the official statement released by the park after the jump.
A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck the greater Los Angeles area this morning, and though there have been no reports of damage or injuries, it definitely shook residents up!
