There is a lot of talk going on about the Oscars right now, as many are upset about the lack of diversity in the nominees. Notable names like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Tyrese and Snoop Dogg have announced their decisions to boycott the prestigious awards ceremony until a real change comes, and even the Academy’s President has released a lengthy statement about the situation, promising a concerted effort moving forward to prevent the lack of inclusion. In the conversation about the lack of diversity in the nominees, Straight Outta Compton has come up quite often – as not only did it feature amazing acting from newcomers O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jason Mitchell and Corey Hawkins, but it broke box office records around the globe, and shined another much-needed light on racial profiling from police – a very pressing issue right now. Despite all of this, however, it was only nominated for Best Screenplay…and guess what? The film’s two writers? Yeah, they’re white. SOC star (and my future children’s father! Hey bae!) Terrence J Is Leaving E! News
After nearly three years as a co-host, Terrence J will be leaving his gig at E! News. “I think in order for someone to grow, it’s important that you try new things and you create new challenges, create new dreams for yourself,” Terrence said in an announcement on the show last night. “I love you guys to the bottom of my heart. I love this crew. I love working with you guys. But it’s important I grow, and I wanted to leave on my own terms and when I was ready.” He will be going on to pursue his career in film. He most recently produced and starred in his first feature film this summer, The Perfect Match, so he’s certainly thriving. I’m happy to see Terrence continue to strive for more and keep growing! Congrats!
Terrence J To Leave E! Network?
According to a new report, Terrence J will be the latest personality to exit the E! Network. This comes just days after it was reported that Giuliana Rancic would be departing as well. Though Giuliana will stay on as a correspondent for Fashion Police and Live From The Red Carpet, Alicia Quarles, Jesse Giddings and Terrence Jenkins will all reportedly be completely exiting. There is no news as to where Terrence will go, or whether this is 100% true, but we wish him the best with whatever his next move is! Perhaps diving full-time into acting?

Jennifer Lopez is the proud mother of two adorable little twins, Mia and Emme. Although it’s difficult constantly being in the spotlight, J. Lo tries to keep her parenting rules as strict as possible when it comes to her seven-year-olds. She recently had a sit-down with E! News where she detailed what her “Sunday Funday” consists of for her and her tiny tots. “It starts with a late breakfast. We sleep in, even the kids sleep in. And Sunday Funday, they work towards that because they don’t get to use their iPads during the week,” she revealed. “Or play video games or anything because it’s school time. And they have to be good in school and then they get Sunday Funday. It’s something I made up so they could work towards it and behave!” The 45-year-old then went on to explain how she strictly monitors the amount of time her kid’s spend playing on their electronic devices. “All they want to do is be on these devices all the time. They get to play with it as much as they want that day,” she explains. “And I get to lay down because it’s an amazing baby [tool]—everybody knows—that’s why they give it to them all the time. But you know, I try to regulate it and then on Sunday, I let them go and I take a nap while they’re doing it.” Love it! It’s great to be strict on your children without taking it overboard.
