Duke is one of the most hated schools in college basketball. There’s been a growing dislike against the Blue Devils and the white players they have. Think back to Michigan’s Fab 5 against Duke and it’s pitted as black underprivileged players trying to make it against white privileged players. JJ Redick, who at one time was a controversial Duke player, opened his podcast posted on Monday with a discussion about the allegations of Grayson Allen being a dirty player. He questioned why there’s always someone that we as a whole insist on disliking on the Blue Devils every year.

Welp, it looks like Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a big debt to fill. More than a year ago, Romo took a selfie with Jahlil Okafor. At the time Okafor was slated to become a highly touted freshman at Duke and posted the selfie on Instagram with a “deal” he made with Romo. Okafor fulfilled his end and now Romo is up.

The Duke Blue Devils defeated the Wisconsin Badgers 68-63 on Monday night winning the NCAA National Championship. It was the fifth national championship in the school’s history tying them with North Carolina and Indiana for third-most of all-time. It was also coach Mike Krzyzewski aka Coach K’s fifth title; making it five titles in three different decades for the famed coach. The only head coach with more title’s than Coach K is the legendary John Wooden with 10. After the win the customary blue and white confetti fell from the roof and players donned some super cool black and gold championship snapbacks. One of the best parts of the win of course is the championship rings, so here they are.
