Following the recent drug bust on Nelly’s tour bus, tour bus companies are going to start warning drivers about Texas checkpoints and to watch for suspect items. A Sierra Blanca, Texas checkpoint has landed Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, Fioana Apple, and actor Arnie Hammer in handcuffs. Texas has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to drug possession so tour bus drivers will now insist that celebs dump their drugs before getting on the bus or at least before the Sierra Blanca checkpoint. Nelly Responds To Tour Bus Drug Drama
Yesterday night, Nelly’s bus was searched by Texas Border Patrol, and officials found heroin, a loaded gun and weed. There were 7 passengers including Nelly, and one member of his entourage took the rap for everyone and was promptly arrested while the others were let go. This guy will be set for life! Nelly’s PR team is definitely in damage control, as they’ve now followed up with the typical statement from Nelly, claiming “no knowledge” of the 36 bags of heroin and 10 POUNDS of weed around him.
