Early last year Lupe Fiasco said that he would be retiring from the rap game in 2017, but before he retires he will be releasing 3 albums. Today he surprises fans and releases the first of the three albums, “DROGAS Light” a day ahead of its release. The 14 track project is the follow up to 2015’s “Tetsuo & Youth” and features guest appearances from Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign, Big K.R.I.T., Gizzle and more. Lupe took to twitter to explain the title of the album and explained that the “Light” in “DROGAS Light” means the project is “light” in all aspects musically, content-wise, and conceptually with Lupe even freestyling some of his verses. Stream the album below and grab it on iTunes tomorrow. Look out for his upcoming albums “DROGAS Deep”, and “Skulls” dropping later this year.
