I was watching this game and fell asleep around the start of the 4th quarter, when the Warriors were in total control. I woke up in the middle of the night to see that they somehow blew a 24 point lead to a team that can’t score in the Memphis Grizzlies. Draymond was very upset with Kevin Durant at the end of regulation and he was still steaming after the game.

Draymond Green was hit with a flagrant 1 foul after accidentally kicking James Harden in the face. Green has become known for these kicks, and was famously suspended during game five of the NBA Finals after delivering one of those kicks to the groin of LeBron James. Green lashed out after the game, feeling that he was being targeted and his kicks are the natural reaction of his body and are unintentional. Some people long for the basketball of the 80’s/90’s where the game was more physical and players weren’t penalized. Gary Payton agrees the game is softer now, but he thinks it’s a good thing.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr admitted to using marijuana while dealing with chronic back pain. Kerr got surgery on his back and missed 43 games during the Warriors historic 73-9 season. Since Kerr’s admission, reporters of course asked his players about their stance on the drug.

Draymond Green is still flailing his body on the court in an exaggerated manner and it caught up with him last night against the Rockets. Despite all the attention Green brought himself last season for the way he throws his arms and legs around, which sometimes resulted in cheap shots on the opponent (just ask Steven Adams of the Thunder), he has still been caught doing it multiple times this season but not by the refs. Last night Draymond managed to kick James Harden in the face when he clearly didn’t need his body to react like that and the refs hit him with a flagrant foul for it. Not so shockingly, Draymond didn’t agree.

Draymond Green didn’t make any friends in Boston last night as the Warriors easily took care of the Celtics. The crowd booed Kevin Durant everytime he touched the ball and even during interviews, showing they are still salty he decided not to go there this summer during his free agency. For his part, KD wasn’t even bothered by it because he could care less but Draymond ripped into the fans after the game, going as far as to say they may even scare future free agents away.
