Drizzy taking a page out of Kendrick’s book or was this just bound to happen?
Last week, Drake dropped the track “2 Birds, 1 Stone,” where he’s taking shots at G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T, and former G.O.O.D. Music artist, Kid Cudi. Over the weekend, the credits for the song were released, and in quite the interesting turn of events, none other than Kanye West was listed as both a producer, a composer and a lyricist! Of course, Ye wouldn’t knowingly get involved in a project that would diss the President of his label, and it’s likely he wouldn’t want to diss Cudi either – after he just proclaimed his love for him at his recent show. Could this have been a petty move on Drake’s part? Well, his in-house producer 40 has the answer.
Last week, we seen Kanye West dedicate a touching moment during his show to Kid Cudi. Kanye had the crowd participate in a acapella version of ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1,’ which featured Cudi, during his show. The moment was due to Cudi’s recent entering of rehab. Drake responded to the shots throw at him by Cudi, by dropping a song in which he spoke on his suicidal urges. We now have learned that Kanye is one of the credited composers and lyricists written on the ‘2 Birds 1 Stone’ single.
Jeopardy continues with it’s hip-hop questions on the late show following the “nerd-core hip-hop” question a couple of weeks ago…Alex asked for $200 who rapped these lyrics? The guy was more than happy to give the answer haha.
Drake received a lot of heat for the way he dissed Kid Cudi on his new track. Alot of people thought it was truly a wack stab being that Cudi has recently admitted himself into rehab for depression. Cudi’s manager has now responded to the diss.
