One of the directors from “Menace II Society,” Allen Hughes is now working on a documentary about the partnership between Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre. The documentary will be called The Defiant Ones. It will be airing in 2017. According to a press release the series will be “set amid many of the defining events of the past four decades.”
Suge Knight Is Now Suing Dr.Dre
Suge Knight is back at it again with a new lawsuit. Knight says that Dre hired a hitman to kill him all over ‘Beats.’ Suge says he had a lifetime management deal with Dre. He says he was promised a 30% cut of Dre’s entertainment earnings. Suge says when Dre got his Apple deal for ‘Beats,’ he tried to cut him out of it because Apple wanted no parts of Suge.

Tonight was the premier of Michel’le’s movie ‘Surviving Compton.’ In the movie, Dr.Dre’s relationship with the singer was shown and it did not make Dre look so good. District Attorney Rejects Dr.Dre’s Gun Case For Insufficient Evidence
The L.A. County District Attorney has decided to reject the case in which Dr.Dre was accused of pulling out a gun on a motorist. The DA claims that there is a lack of evidence which means there isnt enough to build a case against Doc.
Jerry Heller Sides With Dr. Dre After Run-In With Police At His Home
On Monday, cops showed up at Dr. Dre’s house after a man claimed Dre had a gun. When they arrived, they handcuffed him on his own property, but released him once no weapon was found. (Since there wasn’t one, and the guy who reported it was a racist weirdo.) Despite not seeing eye to eye and currently having a lawsuit out over last year’s Straight Outta Compton movie, former N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller spoke with paparazzi last night and sided with Dre.
