NFL: Donovan McNabb Inks Deal With NFL Network As Broadcaster

Sabrina B. Earlier we shared the news that reports that Donovan McNabb was moving on to a career in broadcasting & signed with Maxx Sports and agent Mark Lepselter in preparation for work with one or more networks.  Now the news broke that the quarterback has inked a deal to join the NFL Network as a broadcaster.

Donovan McNabb has passed for 37,276 yards with 234 touchdowns. He’s been to six Pro Bowls, most recently in 2009, and has led teams to six division titles and five conference championship games. Shortly after the Vikings waived him last December, Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500 Twin Cities reported that McNabb “was out of shape when he showed up” to Minnesota, and “fell even more out of shape once he got benched.”

NFL: Mike Shanahan Says He’ll “Take The High Road” on Donovan McNabb Comments

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Donovan McNabb said last week on “ESPN First Take” that Robert Griffin III wouldn’t be a good fit with Mike Shanahan. The Washington Redskins coach, given a chance to respond, told The Washington Post that he was taking “the high road.”
